Sam's Office is the 18th level of the first Volume. It continues the investigation into Clare and Harry van Buren's homicide.
Story[]
June visits Sam's office. Sam shuts her down pointing to a newspaper, where Eddie is proclaimed to be Clare and Harry's murderer. June confronts Sam about his previous relationship with Clare and Harry and his visits at the estate. Sam feels pressured and warns June, but June keeps asking. Sam claims to have investigated Harry's bootlegging and throws June out. By matching Sam's handwriting from one of his files with the one from Clare's letters, June deduces that Sam was Clare's lover in college. June intends to find more solid proof.
