Pennsylvania Farmhouse is the 346th level of the first volume. It continues the investigation into Ben Field's homicide.
Story[]
June and Jack meet Evelyn Lang, the woman from the photo, at the Pennsylvania Farmhouse. When they mention the name Hayes, Evelyn wants to end the conversation, tells them to leave, because she excpetcts trouble. June calms Evelyn down and brings up the affair with Avery Hayes, but Evelyn can't talk about it. From a swing in the yard June deduces that Evelyn may have a child and confronts her with that. Evelyn says that she can't talk about the affair to protect her daughter. When it becomes clear that Evelyn's daughter is Jack's half-sister, Jack is overwhelmed and needs a break.
