A Hidden Object Scene is an image that the player has to find various hidden objects in. For every level there is a new scene and playing scenes will move the player through the five stars of a level and the story. It is necessary to play the same scene many times to finish a level. The Hidden Object Scene gets more complex the further the player progresses through the stars of a level.

A scene can be accessed by spending energy. Regularly, accessing a scene costs 15 energy, but the player can watch an ad and access scenes for 10 energy for the next 30 minutes. Playing scenes rewards the player with coins and varying other rewards.

Playing Scenes[]

Scene001

Hidden Object Scene of Level 1, Vol. 1: Orchid Island Estate

While playing a scene the Hidden Objects are listed at the bottom of the screen, always a maximum of three at a time. In the bottom right corner a hint can be used. The player can zoom into the image, when an object is not in the zoomed in part of the image it will be greyed out. When the player reaches a chain of a minimum of two Hidden Objects a blue bonus bar appears at the top of the screen. The bonus bar runs out automatically and can be sustained by tapping on more Hidden Objects. The player can reach a maximum bonus of 9, meaning an object gives 9 times the amount of points than without the bonus.

Scores[]

After every completion of a scene the player gets a score. The highest score of a player will be recorded in the leaderboard. Since the scenes in each star have different numbers of hidden objects that are worth different amounts of points, it varies how difficult getting a good score is. The lower the star the harder it is to get a high score and the higher the star gets the easier it will be to gain points.

Stars Number of hidden objects Points per object
0 8 3000
1 10 3000 - 4000
2 12 3000 - 5000
3 12 3000 - 6000
4 12 4000 - 7000
5 12 4000 - 7000

Each scenes' points are made up of five categories:

  • Base: Max. 455,000 points
  • Accuracy: Max. 40,000 points
  • Time: Max. 125,000 points
  • Hints: Max. 40,000 points

This means there is a maximum score of 700,000 points per scene.

Rewards[]

At the end of each scene the player is always rewarded with coins, sometimes with suitcases and during events the player may obtain tokens. If a scene is completed without a mistake and without losing the bonus a "Perfect" score will be given which rewards 10 extra coins.

Rewards in suitcases[]

Tips for playing scenes[]

  • Make sure the ads are played so the rounds cost 10 energy instead of 15 energy.
  • Don't be afraid to use the light bulb to find an object that is unfamiliar or hard to find.
  • Zoom in if something can't be found. If zoom in and the object is on screen the name will be white, if it isn't the name will be grey.
  • Choose between pushing through the story or get 5 Star Boxes. (Getting 5 Star Boxes is a better option because to unlock the Bonus Level a player needs 20 stars. Also, if the same level is played over and over the objects will be easier to find.)
  • The scene is displayed in darkened mode before playing, which is a chance to look for new objects when starting a new star.
  • Please note that Hints are part of the final score and using a light bulb will lower the total score. (Minus 10,000 per hint.)
