The Fairgrond Fortune (FF) is a recurring, time-limited event, where the player collects bronze coin tokens to unlock varying rewards. Fairground Fortune events typically run for 2 to 3 days and can be accessed from the Orchid Island screen. The Fairground Fortune is hidden behind the raffle ticket wheel type symbol on the left side of the screen. Events are announced a few hours beforehand by the same raffle ticket wheel type symbol appearing on the screen that shows a countdown when tapped on.
Other time-limited events are the Detectives Needed and the Sweep the Board.
How it works[]
Fariground Fortune Event July 2021
The Fairground Fortune has three stages, that need to be repeated.
Besides the version seen above, there is another Memoir Type version, where the wheel is the colors of packs, and the majority of tasks are about the current Memoir.
- Your Tasks: The player has to complete tasks that are listed on the left side of the event screen. For every completion of any of the tasks the player receives the assigned amount of bronze tokens, that will be collected in the progress bar in the center.
- Spinning the wheel: When enough bronze tokens have been collected, a button to spin the wheel of fortune appears. The player has to tap it to receive a prize. Whenever the Fairground Fortune Wheel is ready to spin there will be a notification.
- Prize Pool: By spinning the wheel of fortune the player wins a random prize out of the prize pool displayed on the right side of the event screen. Usually, there are 3 to 7 regular prizes at the top and always one rare drop prize. All prizes can only be won once. The regular prizes are various amounts of energy, coins, diamonds or compasses. The rare prize is usually a decoration item, either a new one or a reoccurring Seasonal Set decoration.
- Repeat: Once the player receives a prize, the won prize is greyed out and the Fairground Fortune resets. The progress bar in the center is emptied and an overspill of bronze tokens will not carry over. The tasks will refresh, but the prize pool obviously stays the same. Most of the time, the rare drop decoration will only be won when it is the last prize left in the prize pool.
- At one point in time after the rare prize had been won, the player had the option to reset the whole prize pool by watching an ad. That way there would be another rare prize to win, usually a few 5-Star Boxes. However, as of November 2022, this was no longer an option and once the grand prize has been won, the Fairground ends and goes away.

- Find a compass
- Play a Hidden Object Scene with an activated energy discount
- Reach a x5 Bonus in a Hidden Object Scene
- Play a Hidden Object Scene without missing a tap
- Play a Hidden Object Scene without using a hint
- Win a brown, red or purple Suitcase while playing a Hidden Object Scene
The first two tasks always give a much greater amount of bronze tokens than all the other tasks. They seldomly appear in the same task pool. There are various strategies to complete the tasks more efficiently.
