Diamond symbol
Diamonds are a rare currency in June's Journey that can be obtained and spent in various ways. The amount of diamonds a player owns can be seen at the top of the screen when on Orchid Island or in the shop.
How to earn diamonds[]
Diamonds are harder to obtain than coins, but there are several ways to earn them:
- Most gift bushes that a player receives on their island give diamonds when removed.
- Diamonds can be found by removing trees and stones after opening a new area on Orchid Island with compasses.
- Sometimes diamonds can be found in Star Boxes.
- Rarely diamonds are awarded after finishing a scene.
- Diamonds can be purchased in the Diamond Shop for real currency.
How to spend diamonds[]
Generally, diamonds can be considered to be an 'instant access currency'. So diamonds can be used to:
- buy all kinds of decorations in the shop that are built without a construction timer.
- speed up the construction timer on buildings and decorations or to speed up Jack's Deliveries.
- upgrade a building without having all the necessary materials.
- unlock new areas on you Island(s) without having enough compasses.
- buy more valuable, time-limited gift bushes for friends.
- buy energy or the Extended Energy Bar.
- buy more than one coffee in 24 hours in the Detective Lounge.
- change more than one Help Wanted case in 24 hours.
- change your profile name more than once.
